Itinerary

Pick up from your hotel in Cairo. Transfer with an air-conditioned vehicle to scout Cairo Citadel, which overlooks Cairo as one of the towering tops of al Muqattam mountain. The citadel evokes the memory of its great founder Saladin who built it in the 12th century A.D. built on the Medieval castle's style.

Immerse yourself into the Alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali. The nam-ing was because of the extensive use of the Alabaster stone on the exteri-or walls and surfaces. It was built to be similar to the blue mosque in Istan-bul. Capture some fantastic photos from the Panorama of the Citadel.

Then, proceed to see Babilon fortress ruins and towers in the Old Cairo site. Enjoy Coptic Cairo walking Tour, then tour the Hanging Church. The church is one of the oldest and most popular historical churches in Egypt. It was erected on the top of Babylon towers. There is also the Crypt of Holy Mary inside the Church of Saint Sergius. Then, visit Ben Ezra synagogue, the oldest Jewish place of worship in Cairo, sometimes referred to as the El-Genizah Synagogue.

Then, stroll at khan El Khalili Market.
At the end of your trip, transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.

FAQs

Do tourists have to wear hijab in Egypt?
As a tourist you aren't expected to wear a hijab or any other hair covering in Egypt. The only exception to this is if you're visiting a mosque – in that case, you do indeed need to respect the fact that you're entering a religious building and cover up
