After picking up from your hotel in Aswan, take off to your tour, and your first spot will be Kalabsha Temple, it was built by the Roman Emperor Octavius Au-gustus 50 km south of Aswan.
The temple was dedicated to Mandulis or Merul, a Lower Nubian sun god. This temple was constructed over an earlier sanctuary built by Amenhotep II from the 18th dynasty. Although the structure dates to the early Roman period in Egypt, it still features many fine scenes such as "a very fine carving of the falcon God Horus emerging from the reeds on the inner curtain wall" of the temple. From Kalabsha's "sanctuary chambers, there is a staircase that leads up to the rooftop of the temple," where one can view a splendid panorama of the temple and its sa-cred lake.
