Location:
From Cairo, reaching the quiet and empty parts of the desert will take about 4 hours and 40 minutes. From Alexandria, it will take more than 6 hours to get to these parts of the desert by road. Along the route you will take, you will have many opportunities to see beautiful views. There are no cities or villages in the jungles because the land is too empty, and life in them is difficult due to the extremely high temperatures that occur in the summer.
Behavior that is typical
Although this is a widespread view, the fact that the forests of a valley are smaller than those in the marine area does not make it any less beautiful. You may see some beautiful mountain ranges and white rock faces, which are very similar to those of the White Desert.
Compared to the Sahara Desert, the limestone cliffs and yellow dunes are other things that make this area different from the others. It isn’t easy to climb these peaks from the peaks along the road to Bahariya and Farafra, and this is because the sides of these peaks are steeper and higher.
A long time ago, the riverbed ran through an area of the Agabat Valley, now known for its peculiar features. This stream can pump water from a lower elevation, such as a valley, to a higher height. This riverbed can’t be seen anymore because it was covered in dirt at some point.
